In Indonesia, the main sector for economic growth in 2030 is marine and fisheries. The Republic of Indonesia's Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries has taken the right steps to increase fisheries production. These include improving fisheries production commodities that have been dominant on local markets and exports, like shrimps, seaweeds, catfish, grouper and other types.
In accordance, DPJB is committed to encourage improvements of fisheries superior commodity industrialization, such as shrimp, grouper, catfish, and seaweed through the event of AQUATICA and INDOAQUA since 2018.
AQUATICA ASIA is more than an exhibition for fisheries products. It also serves as an opportunity for investors in the fisheries sector to meet, make business deals and partner, explore export opportunities and show their latest technology.
"Indonesia's marine affairs, fisheries and fishing will be one of three major sectors that contribute to the country's economic growth in 2020. The Indonesian Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries has made significant efforts to improve fisheries production and other commodities. GPP's initiative to manage Aquatica Asia 2018 was another part of these efforts.
