The Ohio Pawpaw Festival is a fun-filled, educational community event that celebrates one of America's largest native tree fruits, the pawpaw (Asimina triloba). It features delicious food and beverages as well as dozens of activities and presentations on pawpaw growing and cooking, genetics, medicinal use, and other sustainability-related topics. The festival will feature a variety of special events, including competitions for best and largest pawpaws, a pawpaw cooking contest, the best pawpaw related work of art, and the popular pawpaw eating contest.
