De Asia NOW-Paris Asian Art Fair fierde de 9e edysje fan har beurs fan 20 oktober 2023 oant 22 oktober 2023 yn Monnaie de Paris.
Asia NOW selected 66 galeries, 5 non-profit art spaces and leading contemporary art galleries around the world. They presented more than 220 artist from 26 countries in Asia and its Diaspora. This includes West, South-East and East Asia, as well as Central Asia.
Slavs and Tatars, an internationally recognized art collective, is dedicated to the area known as Eurasia which lies East of the former Berlin Wall and west of the Great Wall of China. The collective, which was founded in 2006, has demonstrated a deep understanding of social issues, paving new paths in contemporary discourse through a wholly unique form of knowledge production. This includes popular culture, spiritual traditions, oral history, modern myths and scholarly research. The work of the collective has been shown in solo exhibitions around the world, including at the Vienna Secession, MoMA New York, Salt Istanbul, Albertinum Dresden, Centre Pompidou Metz, among others.
